Full gents toilet refurbishment with all old fittings and finishes being removed and replace with new.

Works included:

new drainage connections, new electrical and plumbing feeds, new ceilings, new doors, new wall tiling, full decorations, and floor coverings.

The works consist of completely taking down the thatch roof to convert the roof area into bedrooms. A temporary roof was put over the house whilst the works were completed to protect the house from weather conditions.

Works consisted of external decorators to the building to give this pub a fresh new look

Here we completely refurbished the house meaning the clients had to move out of the property while the works commenced, as everything had too be stripped back and started again.

Shell Build

Works consist of an additional 1^st floor bedroom and en-suite over the existing garage and ground floor TV of the site. Works were designed to use the original single skin garage walls to support the additional second floor walls, with an internal steel support beam system and foundations pits and columns to build off.

 Client didn’t want the expense of a temporary roof over the working area, whilst the old garage roof was removed and the second floor external walls were erected. So an elaborate water proofing system to stop water ingress into the family home was installed.

Due to the clients budget this was a shell build, but allowing windows and ceilings to be installed. The client will progress all internal finishes and has installed his own electrical installation and heating system and intends to complete all the ceiling and wall plastering over the coming months.

Overhaul client budget 35-40k

Works took 10-12 weeks to complete

Rear Extension and Loft Extension

This was a partially tight access site as it was off a pedestrian ally and the works were through the main house and in the rear garden. The works consist of taking down the original outbuildings, hand digging foundations and over site, installation of concrete, external brickwork, steel supporting frame work, floor, new flat roof and internal plastering to the extension. Plus whilst onsite the client requested us to include the formation of a roof bedroom and dormer formation, installation of a new boiler and heating system, upgrading of the general installation to the house and the plastering of all other internal walls.

Whilst all of the works were completed on time, there was a particular issue with the designed steel frame to support the new 2^nd storey bedroom and dormer. HCL spent a great deal of time with the local authority and structural engineer designing out the issues and finding a working way forward for all parties.

Overhaul client budget was 50k

Works too 12-16 weeks to complete

Fire Damage Insurance Job

The fire damage carried out on behalf of Crawford Loss Adjusters. Works consist of fully house refurbisment including: re-wiring, new heating system, new windows, plastering, new bathroom, new kitchen, carpentry works, staircase, decorations and floor coverings.

Approximate value of works was between 60-70k and time on site was 14-16 weeks. This work was completed August 2011.

Full House Refurbishment

Flood Damage Insurance job carried out on behalf of Crawford Loss Adjusters.

Work consist of a full house refurbishment, including: re-wiring, new heating system, new ceilings, full bathroom refurbishment, full kitchen refurbishment, plastering, new doors, laminate flooring, decorations, and floor covering to first floor.

The approx value for these works was 50-60k and the time spent on site was 8-10 weeks and was completed August 2011.

Office/IT Suite Conversion

Work carried out for an investment company. Vacant Printing warehouse converted into a full Office/IT Suite.

Works consist of roofing repairs, DPM install, insulation upgrade to walls and floors, plastering, new doors, PVC external doors, date wiring, lights, heating, AC install, decorations, floor coverings, kitchenette, toilets, and meeting room.

Value of these works was 50-60k and the work on site was 6-8 weeks and the works was completed January 2011.
